Hellooooo,
I'm at work right now and i'm being asked to make a formula for excel.
The specifics are:

Tab1:
price : (need to fill in)
price with substractions etc : (need to pull from different tab)

Tab2:
price : 1
subst : A

Price : 2
subst : V

Price : 3
subst : G


So if i enter "1" in tab1 the 2nd cell has to pull the A from tab 2
if i enter "2" in tab1 the 2nd cell has to pull the V from tab 2 etc etc

I can not for the life of me find this on internet and was wondering if the ngu community could help me out.

I think I'm following what you are asking. If you just click on the end desired cell and type = you should be able to just click on the other tab and the cell you want to pull from. If I'm not tracking correctly, let me know.
