at that price check your local listings and try to score a late model higher end gpu, a gtx 760/gtx680/gtx770/r9 280/280x/290. same with cpu. you might find someone selling a older i5 3--- with a mobo. thats the only way to really make this build worth your time honestly. i wouldnt go amd fx they are old and new ones are coming out. i'd look for a mobo cpu and ram used like a i5 in the 150ish range, then get a older gpu as i said before, make sure it works good beforehand. then add a new case and powersupply. otherwise save up to at least 500 to get somthing worth building -

If he can't make a build himself, I don't think he'll be able to find out what a good GPU is and to test if it is working or not. -
