External power e3 flasher

Anyone can give me some help on how to give e3 flasher external power instead of using the ps3 to power it?

Follow this video. Heard of people using a USB and being able to get a dump while nor still on the MB. There also download link in the description with pictures for anyone else who may need help. Thanks everyone for the help.

hi sory for very late reply i use a knife cut/score traces around nor chip but seen you can take the chip off to if you feel you can for power i use an old pc power supply runnning off 3.3v line and theres a wire you eart on the power supply to make it think it connected to a pc to power the e3 il try find the power supply and tell you the wires u
